Arcade Fire has just released another single off their highly-anticipated forthcoming album, Reflektor. While the band has previewed almost half of their new album in recent live performances gearing up to the album’s October 29th release, they have been slow to share studio recordings from their fourth album since the release of the lead single “Reflektor”.

Now, BBC Radio 1 has premiered the album version of “Afterlife” on Zane Lowe’s radio show. The song was previously heard during the band’s Saturday Night Live appearance, but the live version didn’t reflect the grandiose and intimate nature of the fully mixed track. The indie rock giants teamed up with LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy for the follow-up to their Grammy winning album, The Suburbs, and his influence can be heard on the bright, danceable and synth-laden track.

The album goes on sale, Tuesday, October 29.
