Netflix’s business model was once based around mailing DVDs. Now, Netflix has positioned itself to be a contender at the Emmys. With the awards right around the corner, Netflix’s shows like House of Cards will be competing against popular shows like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.

I'm very happy for the success of Netflix, my only hope is when they double their original content they don't also double the subscription fee as well.  Netflix walks on a very narrow precipice where they have to deliver good content for the right price.  For now they're headed in the right direction.  Their Netflix originals are of high quality without having to pay a premium to see them.
