Already we know that tiny yellow hands will save the (cinematic) world from destruction on Feb. 7, 2014, when The Lego Movie debuts, but now we have learned that yellow hands will turn all ninja-like for a second Lego-themed movie from Warner Bros.

The first movie will feature the vocal prowess of Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, Chris Pratt, Liam Neeson, Will Ferrell and Morgan Freeman morphing Lego figures into world-saving heroes. The brother writing team of Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman will also write the next Lego installment, Ninjago, based on the very popular line of Lego toys — which already spawned both a Nintendo game and a Cartoon Network television series.

While not directly connected to The Lego Movie, the new movie—which features all types of ninja-type Lego figurines battling dragons, snakes and other general evilness—does share a group of producers in Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Dan Lin and Roy Lee. Warner Bros. has also signaled its seriousness with the second movie—as we see with the big stars lined up for the first movie—by selecting Charlie Bean (Tron: Uprising) to direct.

While we don’t have a release date for Ninjago, with two Lego movies already planned, Warner Bros. sure hopes those tiny little yellow hands are actually made of gold.
