If you’re looking for a job in fashion, look no further, Kanye West is hiring.
Last week, listings for several senior positions — including CFO and vice president of production for an unnamed “Kanye West clothing project” — were posted to LinkedIn. This is, of course, not Kanye’s first foray into fashion—Yeezus debuted his first line in 2011, and just recently collaborated with A.P.C. on a menswear line.
So what exactly is this mysterious new fashion venture?
The still-unnamed clothing line, according to the listing, “will leverage Mr. West’s success in high fashion and music to bring accessible style to malls and other outlets across America and around the world.”
An incredibly vague description, yes — but Kanye West and … malls? As Perez Hilton notes, keep in mind: the man has sold plain t-shirts for $120. Either Kanye is getting his own version of the Kardashian Kollection, or perhaps this posting is a total hoax.
