The Lonely Island’s highly anticipated LP, The Wack Album, is in stores today. The album features Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone delivering their trademark blend of comedy and rap, an art form they have been perfecting since they hit the viral-video jackpot with “Lazy Sunday” in 2005 and “Dick in a Box” in 2006 on Saturday Night Live.

On The Wack Album, the group’s third studio record, the comedians are joined by a star-studded cast of A-list musical contributors including Lonely Island regular Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong (who does a reasonable impression of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg on “I Run NY”). The tracks are filled with impressively smooth rhymes, catchy hooks and a rapid-fire flow, rivaling the skills of their impressive contributors.

While the Lonely Island members have steadily established their skill as accomplished rappers, their videos are laugh-out-loud reminders that the group is definitely a comedy rap crew. To mark the release of the new album, the Lonely Island created an ersatz Internet holiday known as #WackWednesday. Each Wednesday leading up to the release of The Wack Album, the Lonely Island released a video, each of which was passed around the Internet quickly enough to remind viewers why popular videos are called viral. For the final installment, the Lonely Island teamed up with hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, electro-pop queen Robyn and actor Paul Rudd to “Go Kindergarten.” The track is filled with patently ridiculous non sequiturs that some how come together in a cohesive track that is both funny and dance-worthy — with a video to match.

The collaboration between the Lonely Island and Robyn isn’t unexpected. They released a rehearsal video a few weeks back showing the Lonely Island and Robyn practicing their moves while wearing grocery bag masks. Watch now:
