Here are the winners (marked in red) of the 2013 Antoinette Perry Awards for Excellence in Theatre, given out at the June 9 awards ceremony.

Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike won Best Play, Kinky Boots won for Best Musical.

Tracy Letts (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) and Cicely Tyson (The Trip to Bountiful) were named Best Actor and Best Actress in a Play, Billy Porter (Kinky Boots) and Patina Miller (Pippin) were their winning counterparts in the Musical category.

It was a great show, and I think that Neil Patrick Harris is one of the best award show hosts ever.He is very charming and entertaining and he doesn’t get in the way of the show.I completely forgot that the awards were going to be on last night until I heard a couple of coworkers talking about them during my shift at DISH today, but fortunately I was able to catch up.I love how my DISH Hopper records everything on CBS during primetime, so I had a recording waiting for me when I checked my DVR.
