The political conventions have consumed much of the past two weeks, but our commenters are always good at distracting us, at least for a little while. (Or a long while, if you actually follow through on all the movie suggestions contained below…)

Jim Dandy on Richard Corliss’s review of Terrence Malick’s new filmTo The Wonder, reminds us of the value of skirting convention:
