Sacha Baron Cohen is back. In The Dictator, his third mildly offensive movie about a heavily accented foreigner, the British comedian plays a Gaddafi-esque tyrant who comes to America and—actually, and then I’m not sure what happens after that. Between all the 9/11 and AIDS jokes in the trailer, it was difficult to discern an actual plot.

What do you think of the trailer? Is The Dictator going to be as hilarious as Borat was or as inconsistent as Brüno? Will the fact that the film is completely scripted change Cohen’s humor? Given the horrors that real real tyrants unleash on their people—and, in Gaddafi’s case, endure when they finally fall—is this even a topic that can be satirized?
