Unveiled at this past weekend’s Spike Video Game Awards, is this full-o’-awesome (and really bloody) trailer for The Last of Us, a survival-horror title for the Sony PS3.
Developed by Naughty Dog (who brought us this year’s award-winning Uncharted 3), TLOU tells the story of a pair of survivors — Joel, a square-jawed silent type, and Elle, a resourceful teenager who looks an awful lot like Ellen Page — traveling across a near-future-U.S. that has been ravaged by a mysterious super-plague. The clip (which might be upsetting to young viewers) shows our protagonists dealing with all kinds of nasty in an overgrown urban environment. There is no word as to when the game, reportedly in its second year of development, will ship.
