Thanksgiving is over, your indigestion has hopefully died down, and now it’s time for the next holiday tradition: shopping.

If you’re thinking about buying books, albums, or DVDs for your loved ones this season, you might want to check out TIME’s Populist app on the iPad. Don’t worry, it’s free! And if you don’t have an iPad, you can still look at all our lists here. Populist is filled with stuff like “The 25 Best Sports Movies” and “Top 10 Post-Apocalyptic Books” that can help you come up with gift ideas. Each list is synced up with either iTunes, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble so that you can purchase stuff directly from each entry. There’s no link to Santa’s workshop, though, but don’t worry, he knows what you want. I’m sure his elves are slaving away on your Avatar Blu-ray DVD at this very moment. (You can find that one right…here.)

You can even use Populist to add movies directly to your Netflix queue. This will come in handy during the holidays, believe me. If your grandmother won’t leave you alone, just pick one of Time’s “Top 10 Ridiculously Violent Movies” and she’ll quickly find something else to do. See how helpful we are?
