So here’s the deal: Now that Parks and Recreation is back and Archer has returned, on Thursday night we have several sitcoms that are capable of delivering a killer episode. Last season I tried for a while doing a picture gallery of Thursday comedies with paragraph reviews, but I felt I managed to hit everything without satisfyingly reviewing anything. And God bless any blogger who wants to single-handedly write 4,000 review words Thursday night and Friday morning, but I am not that guy.

So excepting extreme circumstances, most Friday mornings I will probably pick one show to write up—not because it was the best necessarily, but because I have most to say about it. This morning that was The Office. Last week, I gave a lot of deserved ink to Parks and Recreation, which was on fire again last night; today (mostly as an excuse to use “Stop Pooping” as a time.com headline) I’ll let you leave your thoughts here. Or Community, on which I enjoyed the expansion of Annie’s character and the anti-drug play that morphed horribly into a pro-drug play. Or 30 Rock, which added “snarting” to a vocabulary that already had the much-needed “lizzing.”

Or Archer. Or even, hell, Perfect Couples or Outsourced, though I may not share your enthusiasm. In fact, a challenge: if anyone can make a non-sarcastic argument for $#*! My Dad Says, I’m listening!
