I can sometimes take the pulse of the Universal TV Watching Mind by noticing when there’s a sudden spike on traffic for a year-old post on my blog. Judging by this morning’s logs, a bunch of people are coming to Tuned In by Googling the terms “James Brown,” “eTrade Baby” and “shame” or “embarrassment” or “ew” or something like that.
For their benefit and yours, I post here yesterday’s pre-AFC-Championship interview from CBS between James Brown and the eTrade baby. And I will note that, exactly like the first time I posted on CBS’s working of advertorial content into their NFL pregame, the baby incorrectly predicted that my adopted hometown’s New York Jets would win.
Two times makes a trend. I blame the baby!
