Fringe is not going gentle into that good Friday night. As this promo clip indicates, the show’s January move to Friday is often considered a mark of doom for a series. But the show is looking to make the best of the situation, and—like any good mad-scientist drama—trying to conquer death.
The funny thing is that Fringe is only getting better as its prognosis seemingly gets worse. The sad thing is my worry that, somehow, its prognosis is getting worse because the show is getting better. Can Fringe stay true to its delightful freakiness and un-die?
