In the News About Sarah Palin and the Women Who Imitate Her department, some exciting developments! Sarah Palin’s Alaska premiered Sunday night as TLC’s top-rated debut ever, drawing nearly 5 million viewers. That, incidentally, is about the viewership for an original episode of 30 Rock—see what I did with that segue?—which NBC announced yesterday it has already renewed for the 2011-12 season. Which means that if Sarah Palin is a primary candidate come next winter, SNL had better find a new impersonator, or Fey is going to have some juggling to do again.
