An eerie low-budget gem, this 1962 film begins with a drag race that ends with one car plunging into a river. Mary, a church organist, drags herself out of the car and, from then on, is seemingly stalked by a ghostly, pale, suited man who is clearly dead. Then she begins to see more of these creepy figures. The film climaxes with a predictable, but still shocking, final scene.
