American Idol: Judging the Final Three

Cara threw Casey under the bus last night! They talk aobut song choice all season how important it is and then they make him sing that song! You can tell the show is fixed and they fixed it good last night for poor Casey to go home tonight tho I voted twice as much for him because the show jerked him off! Randy let is slip last night he said something about when leaving the show to Casey! I am done with this show for show if he goes tonight I am not watching the finial.

I agree they threw Casey under the bus I have said since 2 seaons ago that it was rigged. I am not a fan of Casey’s but he did not deserve that. I am fighting for Crystal but I think Lee will walk away with it. It is not fair, we are the votes that should matter not what they want.

I think it was a good song choice for Casey, he just didn’t pull it off, he needed to wow everyone, and he failed to do that twice last night. No one threw him under the bus! Crystal was good, but not great, she really didn’t wow me either. But Lee was great. If anyone should have whined about song selection, it was Lee. Simon gave him a difficult song, it could have “thrown him under the bus” but it didn’t. He nailed it!!! . I’m going to watch the finale, I can’t wait to see Lee be the next American Idol.

Casey doesn’t have the 100% “it” factor.. He’s cute, and can sing..but is OFTEN awkward up on the stage and it shows. The other two contestants are far more talented …on this date. Crystal Bowersox has been looosing her grip on the number one spot. I see Casey going home tonight…unless the teeny bopper crowd blew up their cell phones voting for him. But that is how american idol works. the talented, most artistic people don’t often stay. People latch onto a favorite for the season..and good or bad performances they vote for them anyways. That’s why American Idol works..and doesn’t at the same time.
I didn’t even have a favorite this season until last night. First time I felt a contestant worthy of the time of voting..and my money is on Lee :-D

Casey’s face is not that cute..but everything else it!! I agree he got messed over..come on John Mayer was in a scandal with his big mouth..many will remember this….so John Mayer is not a favorite. Plus Allelujia, Casey could have sang it too! Crystal bored me with Come to My Window….whereas Casey sang his 1st song, with something I’m not that familiar with..and added new life to a almost dead show of the same old, same old!!

lifes a game the people do the voting so why waste time writting you dont count as one .i think they should just let people vote once why all that voting crap.anyhow i just watch the last 10 minutes of whos out.i gave up on the idol long time ago.it started out pretty kwell i have not watch the whole show for like 3 years waste of my night

are you kidding me? This show has been trying to get Casey off for weeks. Last night was just a bigger push. I guess no one was suppose to notice the smoke, choir and violins for Lee..while Cara abd Randy gave Casey a song that would put anyone to sleep. Comments made to Casey about every song he has tried to sing in the last week were very negative. If they had anything to say about Lee or Crystal negative it was always followed up by “But we think you are terrific or great” etc..This will be my last season for Idol. At least Paula kept it real.

Yeah so Lee gets a song that anybody who has ever watched Idol has heard a dozen times. It is also one of the most emotional songs ever written by one of the most prolific writers of our time, and he got to play last so you are definitely going to remember that one. Crystal got a multi-platinum number one song written by one of the most famous songwriters of all time, not to mention a former Beatle. You don’t live on this planet if you are not familiar with that one. Then Casey gets “Daughters”??? I have heard some of Mayer’s stuff, but I have never heard that one. So he ends up with a song that somebody over forty may have never heard. And then they tell him that if they were hearing it for the first time it would not impress them?? Talk about trying to influence those of us who have never heard it. And yeah I caught that slip by Randy to “when Casey leaves the show”. The judges definitely manipulated this one. I am never watching it again. Oh, and just for the record, I don’t think any of them have any where near the talent or fan appeal of say, David Cook or Adam Lambert. They are all okay, but I don’t see any charisma or strong crowd connections. They are all three very sympathetic characters, but not stars.

Yes we all seem to agree on here as I do…and I’m a big Casey fan, that the the judges (Kara & Randy) definitely threw Casey under a bus—-giving him that pathetic, layed back John Mayer song: Daughters had to be intentional!!! I knew the min.I heard he was getting that song it was going to do him in—-for that song has simply ZERO potential for any WOW factor…..no one could give that song a wow moment—no one—!! John Mayer singing it sounds boring and you could fall asleep to it….so HOW IS THIS FAIR??!! It’s not !! At this point they all are good singers up there—-it’s who can pick the RIGHT songs with the wow factors. I knew the Hallelujah song and Maybe I’m Amazed had some range and depth and those songs had WOW moment potential….but not Caseys song—-so right off the bat Casey had the disadvantage clearly—-(so I voted for him twice as much for that reason alone)!!!

Obviously the judges and media’s chosen one “LeeDweeb” is going to win it—–Crystal who I normally like— sounded not good at all to me last night (nervous I guess)…..and there again another advantage given to Lee—as its easy to feel more relaxed when you know that they are all hyping you as the winner….you are their choosen one and can’t seem to do any wrong!!!….. so obviously its gonna be harder for Casey and Crystal to overcome the nerves—–Lee already has the confidence factor that he’s got it in the bag—-because the media has given that to him-

trooperdog02- I totally dissagree w/you. I think Casey has far more going for himself then 1/2 the recording artists that are already famous. When Casey picks good, rocker songs and the right songs like : Don’t, Jeolous Guy, Laudy Miss Claudy, Heaven—his voice is simply fabulous—–and on top of that great voice he’s got looks that are way out of the ordinary—fabulous–To have great looks like that along with a great voice to me is a very RARE commodity and truly marketable in every sense of the word. Casey has got it all to be a star— There is no doubt in my mind that he will be the most successfull of the three of them—no matter what happens tonight for him…. The akwardness you describe is there to a small degree—but that will go away once he becomes famous!!! Any great singer was akward in the beginning—even Elvis!!!

Casey James so DOES have the IT factor going on in my book—and alot of other peoples as well I’m sure..

Casey is Heart throb material as a recording artist/performer—– Lee simply has nothing close to that. Lee’s a good singer as well but he has nothing else going for him—- he sounds like so many other average joe guys—-he simply dosn’t have the great looks to go along w/ his great voice—-He in my opinion is lacking the IT factor. Casey has it…..

Casey would be great on Americas Next Top Model Male Edition, but my 6 year old grandson can sing better than him. He is eye candy, that’s all and teen age girls will go crazy but he made it to American Idol by coming in with his shirt off and planted his seed right then, much like Bikini Girl did last year. Lee and Crystal can both sing although she is a better singer than he is, I probably agree with the fact that Lee will most likely win it cause America likes NORMAL, and Crystal like Adam Lambert is unique, but she will do awesome no matter what happens

Lee did much better with his 2nd song but he got way too much praise from the Judges that he did not deserve!…Often I hear him off key in his singing performances but FOR ONCE he was right on with his 2nd song .!
As for Crystal…she lacks style and could use a wardrobe makeover plus I hope she whitens her teeth! Whenever I see her I think banana smile! As for her singing her 1st song was yuck but her 2nd song was very good! Yet she lacks the WOW factor!
There is just one word for Casey…GREAT!
