It seems unfair to pair Idol‘s two favorites in a duet; if one of them has an off night, a solid duet gives their fans reason to vote them through. And this lovely bit of weepie-bait from Once is pretty much insurance for both of them. Although frankly they don’t seem to have a lot of chemistry at the mic; both wearing their guitars and belting it out, they seemed to me to be competing as much as dueting, The judges give them high praise though (maybe to balance out weak reviews for Lee), so I doubt they’re falling anywhere this week.
