A bit of a largish print deadline this morning, so blogging’s going to be light. But the first thing I’m going to do when I have time, right after all the other first things I’m going to do, is get caught up on the final season of 24 so I can be there for Jack Bauer’s sendoff. It’s not like the show has meant anything to me for the past couple seasons, but time was that it was a signal series of the 2000s, and I feel like I owe it to somebody to be there.
I’ll admit that I’m cheating, though; I’m just going to jump into the recent episodes and ignore the large chunk of episodes I missed in the middle of the season. And if my experience of the previous few seasons is any guide, that will not matter at all. Am I wrong? Is anyone in Tuned Inland sticking with Jack to the bitter end?
