Just watched the performances and I have to say Crystal was by far the best last night. That Siobhan scream is going to get old fast.

Aaack! I had a pillow over my face during Siobhan’s performance literally cringing for her. When I heard the panel’s rave reviews I was stunned.

Crystal was the best, and screw Simon for accusing her of feeling like she’s got it in the bag. He’s the one who keeps telling her that, its so obvious that he’s trying to build a false narrative.

Siobhan – I kinda liked it, but I didn’t think it was an Adam Lambert Moment. Girl can sing, but has such a different stage presence every week that its really hard to see who she actually is.

Paige – I actually liked Paige last night, and was especially impressed with her pulling that off with laryngitis. This is the first time in awhile that I really liked Paige.

I agreed with Simon that Big Mike was pretty cheezy with the dancing, but I kind of enjoyed his song.

I liked Didi and thought she did a great job. However, now I can’t remember what she sung…

I wasn’t crazy about most of the other performances. For Rolling Stones night, there wasn’t, like, enough rocking. Seriously, what a bunch of blah performances. The AI band was really lousy, i wanted to groan everytime they started playing what sounded like elevator music. Really really bad.

The “Under My Thumb” thing was a painful disaster. I almost couldn’t listen to it – singing those creepy lyrics like they were sweet made me feel like he totally missed the feeling of that song. Really messed up. I absolutely hated it and want the country to get an order of protection against him.

And WTF with all the praise for Lacey Brown? I thought that was a nitemare. Again, so bad I almost couldn’t listen to it. Terrible choice of song for her voice, she sounded overly nasal and screechy – really grating, her voice was NOT up to that song. Just terrible.

    Anyway, Bowersox for the WIN!!!
