Because of the NBC Nightly News’ bizarre obsession with prioritizing actual important news, the segment I taped yesterday on that network’s late-night wars was shuffled off to the Web. For those of you still interested, you can see me holding forth for about five seconds, in front of the giant books in the fake library I retire to whenever I’m in the mood to do some fake reading:

    Way to stick the landing, JP. Really, more than 5 seconds would have blown too many minds. NBC can’t afford what that might have cost them.

    Really, the next question is what becomes of Bill Carter?

    We talked for about ten minutes. Pretty much every other sentence of which was in some way disparaging of NBC. That may just be coincidence, though.
