Press Tour: More Glee, More Schadenfreude

This week, the Television Critics Association is holding the winter version of its press tour in Pasadena, where TV networks are giving presentations on their midseason lineups. I’m not there, but here are some highlights from people who are:

* Fox has confirmed a second season of Glee for next year, and they’re holding a casting search to fill three new roles. Is there an opening for the cranky school-newspaper adviser who can’t hold a tune?

* I have hardly any idea what Fox’s out-of-nowhere buddy-cop show Code 58 is, and apparently nobody else does either.

* CBS canceled Three Rivers, brought out Chuck Lorre and allowed itself a little glee over NBC’s Jaypocalypse.

* Everybody else at NBC is talking about the Jaypocalypse too.
