Minimalist TV

Albert Exergian

Mrs. Tuned In, a graphic design connoisseur (or is that connoisseuse?), pointed me to this way-cool tumblr blog, which proposes pared-down title graphics for a series of modern and classic TV shows. Each poster, by designer Albert Exergian, boils down a show to a single essential image, as with Six Feet Under, pictured, or, cleverly, Kojak. Be sure to scroll through the back pages for the ingenious depictions of The Simpsons, Monk and (blushing) Californication.
