Shortly after TLC announced that it was writing him out of the title of what is now Kate Plus 8, Jon Gosselin is striking back against the network. First he announced that he want to put the brakes on his divorce from wife Kate; though it may not be conducive to a reconciliation that, according to Radar Online, he never told her about this himself. Then he and his attorneys—apparently now having decided that the family reality show is bad for his kids—banned TLC from filming at the Gosselin house.
And just now TLC issued a statement, which, if I am reading it correctly, translates in layman’s terms to, Do not forget, dear Sir, we still own you:
We are aware of Jon Gosselin’s recent statements, and remain deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior. He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday, without incident, and his latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and are clearly opportunistic. Despite Jon Gosselin’s repeated self destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC. Direct filming of the children has been currently suspended, pending further conversations between both parents.
Stay classy, everyone.
