The Morning After: Garden Statement

Bravo
Bravo

Going to be out and about on business for much of the day, so expect posting to be light. In the meantime, feel free to chime in here on:

* The bombastic, trash-tastic, bleeped-within-an-inch-of-its-life climax and season finale of Real Housewives of New Jersey, in which Danielle confronted the sisters over dragging out her scandalous past in public, Jacqueline stood up to her in-laws, Teresa finally overturned that restaurant table as promised in every previews scene since the series started and the show made the gift to the English language of the wonderfully redundant insult: “prostitution whore!” Which I am trying to find appropriate ways to work into everyday conversation.

* The debut of HawthoRNe, if you did not heed my warning.

* David Letterman’s return to the air amid a “Fire Dave” rally outside the Ed Sullivan Theater, attendance at which apparently stretched into the double digits

* Last night’s Rescue Me, the return (albeit in rerun form for this week) of Better Off Ted, or any other of last night’s TV.
