Blagospotting

If you’re like most Americans, lately you’ve been wondering: whatever happened to that governor of Illinois, and why don’t I ever see him on TV anymore?

Well, buck up! The Chicago Sun-Times’ Lynn Sweet has the governor’s travel schedule, which doubles as a handy NYC tourist’s guide to sighting Blago entering and exiting Manhattan skyscrapers today. According to the list, Rod Blagojevich will be doing 11 TV interviews today.

Yes, that’s “eleven,” with a “leven.” No word on why Blago has so far snubbed G4 network and FUEL TV, but I’m sure he’ll get to them.

What does he possibly hope to prove? He is clearly insane. Does he really think that he possesses sufficient charisma to overcome the damning audio recordings? From what I’ve read, the Senate selling was the final straw but there was already a mountain of evidence against him.
