Read This Other Thing

Am laid up with a cold virus approximately the size of the one that crawled out of those people’s mouths in this week’s Fringe, so blogging’s going to be light today. But I thought I’d point you to Mo Ryan’s postmortem interview with Damon Lindelof about last night’s season 5 Lost premiere. “If you apply common sense rules to Desmond’s memory and cognition as it moves through the show,” Lindelof warns, “you will drive yourself crazy.” Too late for that.

Hope you are feeling better soon. I wouldn’t wish that disgusting thing from this past Fringe episode on anyone.

Since you weren’t well enough to review last nights episodes, I have a list of my 20 observations, theories and questions from the night. I wouldn’t presume to try to take your place, but a little something to hold everyone over (BTW, I’m the blogger from the Paley Center event)

    Wow, dude, get well soon…
    .
Not to hijack your millionth LOSTies post, but…
    .
That Fringe virus/bug thingy gave me horrific flashbacks to nightmares I had as a kid after ‘illegally’ sneaking into a video showing of ‘Poltergeist’. When the guy drinks the worm at the bottom of the tequila bottle which then grows into some lord-knows-what thingy in his stomach, that comes out…OK, I’m just gonna stop.
    .
This was a tight episode of Fringe. Definite momentum builder. I’m all smiles now.
    .
OK, back to reading all the LOST theories. Some of these commenters should really think about writing specs. Interesting stuff.
