Perhaps the folks at Bravo, assembling this Top Chef-themed holiday promo were not aware that it’s a difficult time in the media business. But I’m thinking this is perhaps not the best time to be sending sharp implements to newsrooms across America.
[Update: Bravo confirms that this is, in fact, a set of cheese knives, encased in a handsome cutting board that can then be reversed to serve the cheese. I will take the "knives" as a metaphor for the cutting wit of Tim Gunn, and the "cheese" as a metaphor for The Real Housewives of Orange County. In any case, these should be a hot item at Time's next charity swag sale.]
