Tuned In

High School Musical Graduates

Disney Channel’s High School Musical franchise has moved on from a TV to a movie property, which means that it is officially, if I can help it, No Longer My Problem—at least until the Tuned In Jrs. get older. But it’s worth noting that HSM3 cleaned up at the box office this weekend the same way it has on the tube.

Any Tuned Inlanders get dragged to it? Any of you see it on purpose? In which case, why is your school letting you read this blog when you should be studying?

Goodness – looks like I made it. This is dfig – formerly idigress, apparently that is taken on WordPress so I had to change it up! Anyway – I took my 8 year old to see HSM 3 on Sunday morning. She thoroughly enjoyed it, I gave it a C+ which is much better than I expected to be – so there is that!

Happy new platform – I hope you get it all worked out soon!

Never seen any of the HSMs, have no real clue what they’re about. I guess this a major blind spot in my pop-cultural literacy. . .

BTW, The new platform needs a “preview” function

I saw HSM3 on opening night and I’m 24 years old and love this blog. For a fan of the franchise it was about a solid A-. For anyone else it was probably just confusing.

Time.com wizards says they’re adding preview function to comments–though possibly not until next week.

I got talked into going and ended up leaving with a smile on my face. Not the greatest of movie musicals, but enjoyable enough for a Sunday afternoon!

@That Anonymous Dude: Thanks for that link! I had seen other folks with spaces in their nicknames and been quite befuddled. I’m definitely not used to this new setup yet. . .
