Oops

Faithful TIME.com blog-readers may have noticed something odd today: the blogs kind of disappeared. Long story short, we’ve had major server problems, and as a result we’ve had to re-launch all of our blogs on WordPress. The upside is a faster, better, more stable platform. The downside is we’ll need a few days to get our archives back and work out the bugs, and commenters not currently registered with WordPress will have to re-register. For this last part in particular, I beg your forgiveness. Our commenters are critical to the success of our blogs, and we hate to do anything that makes your participation more difficult. Luckily, re-registration is easy, and one username and password gives you access to all our blogs. You can REGISTER HERE.

I apologize again for the inconvenience, and for being down when there’s so much going on in the world.

Sincerely,

Josh Tyrangiel
Managing Editor

It’s all good. Of course, I will not be able to check on the Tuned-In posts from yesterday and thursday that I usually catch up on saturdays but hopefully they will all be up and posted soon. I am all for technology improvements and having the latest tech toy in hand, like my new IPhone3G which I must say is a simply stunning piece of modern convenience, entertainment and practicality all rolled up into one shiny, glossy, chic package. LOVE IT! I also love James and his take on all things TV. Being a television junkie (including news, politics and currently, “LOST”), I respect Mr. P’s (there is no way I am spelling that last name out) opinions and views on everything tv and think his analysis is just about the best out there in cyber/internet 4.2 (or wherever the hell we are up to) world. Looking forward to getting those posts back and seeing what james recommends for the week-end and has James given up on “Survivor?” I cannot recall any recaps or discussions of the show this season so far. Maybe I am missing it in my internet travels. Anway, love Time.com and all the bloggers, contributers, writers, editors and content. It is THE source for all things news.
