Cujo

The Saint Bernard is generally regarded as one of the most loveable breeds on earth — who doesn’t love a big fluffy dog that revives ailing mountaineers with brandy from a miniature barrel? But in this movie, based on a Stephen King book of the same name, the Saint Bernard is a rabid killer named Cujo, who terrorizes an adulturous woman and her young son trapped in a car. King later said he was so inebriated on alcohol and cocaine at the time he penned Cujo, “that I barely remember writing.”
The Adventures of Milo & Otis

Essentially a live action pet calendar, this is arguably the cutest movie ever made. Blame Japan. The tale of an orange tabby cat and her best friend, a pug, was originally a Japanese feature. The American version, which featured a new voiceover by Dudley Moore, saw Milo and Otis help each other get out of sticky situations and frolick in the great outdoors. You get the idea. Totally ripe for a remake starring Ashton Kutcher and Tara Reid.
