Tuned In

I’m on vacation next week. I’ve preloaded Robo-James, who denies being the last remaining model of the Final Five, with some robo-posts during my absence. And since I’ll be in town most of my vacation—keeping the Tuned In Jrs. out of trouble during their school break—I’ll probably be posting American Idol reviews, and (eventually) a Lostwatch after the show returns Thursday. And that’s it! What more do you bloodsuckers want from me?

Enjoy your week, and I’ll be back April 28. If you run into trouble while I’m gone, Robo-James’ reset button is directly below his death ray. Just don’t get the two buttons confused.

For Richard and Mildred Loving, their marriage was a pretty simple matter. They grew up in a small Virginia town where everyone pretty much knew everyone, fell in love (not without some obstacles; she found him “arrogant” at first) and got hitched.

For the enforcers of Virginia’s anti-miscegenation laws, their marriage was also a simple matter: Richard was white and Mildred was black.
