How I Met Your Dancing Mother

TV begins returning to television tonight, with the first post-strike episode of How I Met Your Mother on CBS. But reality fans need not despair, as Dancing with the Stars comes back on ABC. The really interesting night will be Tuesday, though, when DWTS goes up against the performance episode of American Idol, posing the philosophical question: Would you rather watch amateurs try to become pseudo-celebrities, or pseudo-celebrities perform as amateurs?
