Like the first shoots of bulbs coming up after the winter, scripted shows are starting to return to post-strike television. (New How I Met Your Mother Monday!) I forgot that a new Reaper was airing on The CW last night, but fortunately my TiVo remembered. And sad to say, even though I liked the show, after its long absence I’m not in a big rush to watch it. (Which makes me think that ABC’s decision to hold Pushing Daisies, Private Practice and Dirty Sexy Money until fall is a really bad idea. If viewers were mildly interested in them in November—as the ratings showed—why, then, they’ll be even more mildly interested ten months later!)
Nothing against Reaper, and I’m sure I’ll get around to it, but does anyone more dedicated than I am care to weigh in?
