I meant to post this Lost discussion topic earlier, but it’s not to late to weigh in with you thoughts on the BIG SURPRISE last week’s episode preview promised for this week. The announcement that (I’m paraphrasing) we’d see someone we “never expected to see again” led Lostwatchers to believe that it meant we would be seeing someone we did expect to see again: Michael, whose return to the show this season has long since been confirmed.
But this being Lost, there’s also the theory that some double twist is in store. For instance (and I wasn’t the one to come up with this hypothesis) what if Michael turns out to be on Not Penny’s Boat, but it turns out that someone else is actually Ben”s “man on the boat.” There are plenty of thought-they-were-dead characters on Lost, after all. Could it be Mikhail? Could the surprise actually be surprising? The more unbelieveable your theory, the better!
