You know the drill. Second week impressions of Reaper or Cane? Did ABC’s single-camera comedies elicit a single laugh? (I’ll try to post a review of Cavemen later.) Have you ditched any of your old Tuesday-night appointments to make room for new ones? At least one inquiring mind wants to know.

Reaper 2 was as good as Reaper 1. Maybe a little less funny but I will certainly be watching again next week.

@Karma: I thought Reaper 2 was funny, but I was concerned that it was so much like the first episode. I’ll put up a post about it in a little bit.

Reaper’s concept is what it is. I don’t know how much variety they’re going to be able to put into it, but as long as it stays as winningly executed as it has been so far, I’m not going anywhere. Plus it’s only week 2, far too soon to be worried.

Reaper quality… only a slight falloff from the pilot. I’ll like it more if they keep the family involved in the stories. And Wise is really good.

Didn’t see Cavemen, but a buddy said it was awful.

Cavemen was forgettable. Carpoolers was little better but they’ve got a long way to go to beat NBC’s Thursday lineup.

“Survivor: House” actually worked for me, mainly because it fits with his character – pitting people and diagnoses against each other to find the truth, pushing buttons (religious beliefs, age, etc.) to expose hypocrisy, etc. And while the medical mystery wasn’t all that interesting, how they were forced to TEST her was interesting. Overall, a solid episode.

Plus, Olivia Wilde….I’m always in favor of such casting choices.

Cane – I wasn’s too sure after the first week – as someone else said – too many storylines. I made myself watch the 2nd week. There’s still so many storylines, but it’s growing on me – a little. I found myself cheering when Alex got the nod from the government for the ethanol expansion (??); and then nervous when they searched for the body of Quiñones. I love Jimmy Smits – so I want this to succeed, but I’m still not sure.
