Tuned In

Programming Note

I’m on vacation for the next two weeks. But you’re not getting rid of me that easily. I’ve once again programmed the RoboPoster 3000 to toss up some daily discussion questions while I’m gone. Last time we tried this, the discussion was actually livelier than it is when I’m around here writing stuff, so enjoy it while it lasts, and see you in September. I have Big and Huge planned for the first half of the month–that’s all I can say for now–and then the networks dump out with their fall schedules.

Also, feel free to hijack the discussion threads if there’s any TV news. You’re the men and women of the house while I’m away. But no parties! I know how much liquor is in the cabinets!

Sue me, but I like Betty Draper/Francis as a character. The problem is that Mad Men doesn’t. Betty’s not the worst character on the show, but she’s probably the worst-served.
