Gilmore Girls is dead. The CW network announced the show’s cancellation, after its May 15 finale, today. Variety has the news.
I feel a little sad and a little guilty, because I watched the show avidly for several seasons, then almost completely lost interest after Rory’s first season or so at Yale. Was I wrong? Feel free to leave your reallyreallyreallyfast condolences here. But pace yourself. Network upfronts are the week after next, and I’m guessing this is not going to be the only goodbye we’re going to need to say in the next several days.
