Entourage. Because I can. Because I have the first five episodes. And yes, I am doing a little taunting dance as I write this. Makes it kinda hard to type.
Actually, I’m excited and a little trepidatious. I thought season 3 was a comedown from the stellar season 2, partly because it swung too far in the direction of being The Ari Gold Show, in part because it seemed–like Vince in his career–to be spinning its wheels aimlessly, with no obvious place to go next. Props to Martin Landau for his creation of aging-bull producer Bob Ryan–“Is that something you might be interested in?”–but by the end of the season, I was more anxious for Vince to get a damn job already than he was.
But when the show is good, it’s a blast, and I was glad to see it wasn’t making us wait a year-and-a-half for further episodes like some HBO series I might mention. Plus: Carla Gugino! Is she someone you might be interested in?
