Tuned Out

Like those teases at Lost, Tuned In will be away this week. Unlike Lost, I’ll be returning next week. (I could not talk my editors into a three-month hiatus, returning in February. Nor, for some reason, are they willing to base me in Hawaii.) Posting will be sporadic, but keep checking your bookmark anyway, because, well, I need the hits.

The coming week sees the midseason (or, I guess, mid-first-half-season) debuts of CBS’ 3 Lbs., with Stanley Tucci and ABC’s Day Break, with Taye Diggs. Summaries, respectively: House with brain surgery. Groundhog Day with guns. Don’t bother.

There you go–a week’s worth of TV criticism in ten words! We’re all about efficiency here at Tuned In.

Sue me, but I like Betty Draper/Francis as a character. The problem is that Mad Men doesn’t. Betty’s not the worst character on the show, but she’s probably the worst-served.
